This week, we’re going to try something radical:
we’re not going to overthink anything.
You know that text you’re waiting for or the one you just received that you’re reading way too much into? What if we just left it there? No reading between the lines. No spiraling down the "what did they mean?" rabbit hole. It’s simple: they sent the text or they didn’t. That’s it.
Or how about when someone does that thing—you know, the one that usually gets under your skin? What if we just acknowledge that they did it and... left it there? No dwelling, no stewing—just moving on.
And then there’s that meeting on your calendar—the one that’s got you over-rehearsing in your head. What if you took a few deep breaths, smiled, and left it there? No pre-planning every word, no predicting the outcomes. Just let it be an experience you’ll handle when it happens.
Feels lighter already, right? Like a few mental weights have been lifted.
This week's challenge:
We’re giving our minds a little mini vacation. We’re staying in the present and not overthinking a thing. We’re doing easy.
“I think, therefore I am”... well, not this week.
