Today, I leave for Teotihuacan, Mexico, for a retreat that’s been on my bucket list for a long time. I’m excited. I’m nervous. And maybe what I’m most excited about is stepping into the unknown.
I have little control over this trip. I don’t know exactly what to expect—who else will be there, what the days will hold, or how it will all unfold. And you know what? I love that. I’m fully trusting the process, surrendering to the adventure, and leaning into the experience with an open heart.
Teotihuacan, also known as the City of the Gods, is an ancient city with a rich, mysterious history. It’s famous for its massive pyramids, the Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon, which were once the center of a sprawling Mesoamerican metropolis. It’s believed to have been a place of powerful spiritual energy, and today it’s still a site where people come to connect with that energy and gain spiritual insight.
The more I learn about Teotihuacan, the more I feel drawn to its energy. There’s something magical about walking in a place with so much ancient history, where people once gathered for rituals and transformation. And I can't wait to experience it firsthand.
I’m embracing the idea of letting go and trusting that this journey is exactly what I need right now. This trip is more than just checking something off my bucket list—it’s about allowing myself to step into the unknown and trusting that whatever happens is for my growth and fulfillment.
Your Challenge This Week
While I’m crossing off a bucket list item, I challenge you to do one of two things this week:
- Create a Retreat in Your Own Home: Take a day or even a few hours to retreat from the world. Unplug, meditate, journal, or simply do something that brings you peace and calm. Sometimes, the most powerful retreats are the ones we create for ourselves.
- Plan Your Own Adventure: Is there something on your bucket list that you’ve been meaning to cross off? Whether it’s big or small, start planning that next step toward making it happen. Life is short—let’s not wait too long to experience the things we’ve always dreamed of.
Here’s to adventure, stepping into the unknown, and trusting the process.
With excitement and trust,
xoxo Tracy
