What’s Your Why?

What’s Your Why?

When I started my podcast, I had every reason to overthink it. What if no one listens? What if it doesn’t take off? What if I put all this effort in, and it doesn’t go anywhere?

But every time those thoughts crept in, I came back to my why.

I didn’t create this podcast for numbers, rankings, or validation. I created it for the woman who needed to hear it. The woman who feels stuck, lost, or unsure of her next step. The one who, like me a few years ago, needed a reminder that she wasn’t alone.

And when I focused on that—the reason behind it all—the fear faded. The self-doubt lost its grip. The process became lighter, more exciting.

Because here’s the thing: When you know your why, the how becomes easier.

Simon Sinek, leadership expert and bestselling author, puts it beautifully:

"Fulfillment is not born from the things we achieve, but from the meaning we find in the things we do."

Your why is what makes the work, the risk, the effort worth it. It’s what pulls you forward when things get hard. It’s what keeps you from giving up.

We all have things we want to do—dreams, ideas, goals—but if we fixate on how it will work out or what people will think, we freeze.

Instead, shift your focus to why it matters to you. Your why is your anchor. It’s what keeps you steady when self-doubt creeps in.

Your Beautiful Shift This Week:

Think about something you’ve been wanting to do—or something you’re already doing but feeling stuck on. Instead of stressing over how it’s going to work, shift your focus to why it matters to you. Write it down, say it out loud, and let that be your guide.

With clarity and purpose,
xoxo Tracy

P.S. If you haven’t yet, you can listen to the first episode of A Beautiful Fix on Apple Podcasts or Spotify! In it, I share the exact moment I knew I had to take the leap and leave my corporate career behind—the moment I realized I had to find my why. If you’ve ever felt that pull toward something more but weren’t sure what it was, this episode might just resonate with you. 💕
