Forget January. Fall is the real season of new beginnings, and I’m not the only one who feels this way—Mel Robbins said it best in her recent podcast. I hadn’t thought about it like that before, but it makes so much sense. While January feels like just a calendar change, Fall is all about actual, tangible transformation. The weather shifts, the leaves turn, and even though some of us aren’t in school anymore, there’s this undeniable energy that pulls us into “back-to-school” mode. It’s like we all feel it deep down—a nudge toward fresh starts, new routines, and getting serious again.
Here’s the kicker—Fall has a built-in sense of urgency. These last few months of the year give us a shorter, more manageable timeline to commit to something new. There’s none of that overwhelming pressure of an entire year stretching ahead like in January. It’s a perfect season to dive back into our goals, to refocus, and most importantly, to reconnect with ourselves. That’s why I’m loving the idea of making this your Back to YOU season.
Personally, Fall has always been my favorite time of year. There’s just something about those crisp, cool days, the changing leaves, and the fresh energy that inspires me to get back into learning, growing, and exploring new things. It’s like the season itself is nudging us to jump in, try something new, or pick up where we left off on our dreams.
So, here’s my challenge for you:
How can you make this Fall the season of YOU? What can you do to prioritize yourself and your dreams, even if it’s just a little bit? Maybe it’s something simple, like grabbing a new notebook for your thoughts and goals while the stores are still buzzing with back-to-school supplies. Or maybe it’s something bigger, like learning a new skill, starting a passion project, or reigniting a dream you’ve put on hold.
Fall is your time to refocus, reset, and put yourself first. Let’s make this season not just about getting back to school—but getting back to you.
With gratitude for this season of change,
xoxo, Tracy
